Thank you to everyone who bought the Ukrainian Flaxseed Sourdough bread in the last few weeks. My intent was to bring attention to the incredible resilience we all can find in ourselves when faced with seemingly unsurmountable obstacles. The people of Ukraine, as illustrated by the work of Anna Makievska’s The Bakehouse, are definitely doing this.
As of today, I have donated $64 to DEC’s Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. Some added a few dollars extra as donation, which is greatly appreciated.
I will continue with this campaign until the end of March. But fear not, this bread has been so popular and many have been telling me this is their new favorite bread, I will continue baking it for all to enjoy.
