Baking Update:

We are moving to San Diego and unfortunately I won’t be baking bread in Ventura anymore.

We look forward to our new home, but will miss our friends here, Ventura, and the Central Coast.

Thank you to all I have met and chatted with through my bread baking. I loved it. If any of you visit San Diego, don’t hesitate to email or text me and stop by.

Sourdough Care

  • Store bread cut side down on a cutting board on the counter. Feel free to cover lightly with a clean kitchen towel
  • Or freeze ASAP, whole or sliced.

Restoring

Steps if your loaf is starting to go stale or if you want a hot and crispy bread after defrosting:

  • Run your loaf for a second under a running faucet, to give back some moisture
  • Place into preheated oven (375F) for about 15 minutes
